Media members are always welcome to visit Tamarack Resort. We only ask that you give us advance notice of your trip. The earlier you notify us, the better we are able to assist you! At least one day's notice is preferred for site visits not connected to scheduled media events.

Thanksgiving Day: Opening Day on November 22

Join us as Tamarack kick's off Idaho's longest ski season, scheduled for Thanksgiving through Mother's Day.

National Travel/Lifestyle Media FAM trip: January 8-11

Limited number of freelancers on assignment, along with national media, are invited to the resort for a multi-day adventure to experience Tamarack's alpine and Nordic offerings, backcountry guided trips, gourmet cuisine, tour lodging and amenities, meet the executive team, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the under-construction Village Plaza set to open in one year.

Women's Wellness Weekend Media FAM trip: January 24-28

Experience Tamarack through a customized weekend of activities designed to help women work towards healthier lifestyle choices, combining Nordic/Snowshoe activities with guided instruction, healthy gourmet food, spa activities, wellness presentations and fun!

Chevrolet U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix: February 8-10

Tamarack welcomes snowboarding and snowsports media to the resort for the 2nd stop of the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix featuring a pipe competition in a 22-foot Olympic-sized SuperPipe, and a specially designed snowboardcross course. Media credentialing will be required for coverage of the event.

Special Olympics Invitational: February 25-28

Twenty-six delegations from around the world will be coming to Idaho to participate in the 2008 Special Olympics Invitational Games from February 25-28. Tamarack is proud to be the venue for the snowboarding events. Ten foreign delegations along with 16 American states will be participating in the Invitational Games, a prelude to the 2009 World Winter Games, expected to generate excitement and involvement for athletes, sponsors, host towns, volunteers and community service leaders.

Masters World Cup: February 28-March 8

Tamarack Resort welcomes the international Nordic community to the Payette River Mountains area for the 2008 Masters World Cup to be held at Ponderosa Park in nearby McCall. Just 17 miles south of McCall, Tamarack features the Lyle Nelson Nordic and Snowshoe Trail System. The 25K system features classic tracks and smooth skating lanes laid out along winding trails in meadows and aspen groves, and heavily forested trails with towering pines, firs and tamaracks. Nightly grooming ensures optimal terrain. Dogs are allowed on Nordic and the 15K of separate snowshoe trails.

Tickets & Passes

Complimentary lift/trail passes and tee times will be arranged for media, photographers, and/or filmmakers directly responsible for producing the project or piece, subject to the discretion of the PR Team.

Accommodations

Tamarack Resort has on-site options available for lodging. Media members on assignment are eligible for discounted or complimentary lodging pending availability.
